The book pays tribute to the men and women who served during the wars including Edith Anderson, Cameron Brant, Charles Byce, David Greyeyes, Mary Greyeyes, F. O. Loft, Tom Longboat, O. M. Martin, Marion Miller, Henry Norwest, Francis Pegahmagabow, and Tommy Prince.
