Taiksumani: Inuit Myths and Legends, volume 2 is a bilingual (English and Inuit syllabics) book from Nunavut Bilingual Education Society. This organization selects traditional narratives and stories and presents them for Inuit students in the North as part of their curriculum. Part graphic novel and part picture book, this 72-page book retells two stories about the past, Qallupilluit: The Takers of Children; and Tuutarjuk: The Spirit of String Figures. Each two-page spread includes one page with black and white pencil drawings with the opposite page containing the text for easy scary story. Translation is by Louise Flaherty with illustrations by Babah Kalluk. The story in Inuit syllabics is also 72 pages in length.
