Bernelda Wheeler was a writer, storyteller, journalist and teacher from the Muskopetung First Nation. She also acted in the play Someday at Saskakatchewan's Globe Theater, and served as an advisor to The Aboriginal Film and Video Art Alliance. She is of Cree, Assiniboine, and Saulteaux ancestry.
