Judy Reuben
Judy Reuben, Mohawk, Turtle clan, is from Six Nations of the Grand River in Ontario. She holds a Master of Education degree in Curriculum Development and Policy Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Psychology, a Bachelor of Education, and is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Judy has worked for 40 years in Indigenous Education including teacher, consultant, Principal, sessional instructor for Brock University, and author. Judy has written four books for the Ontario Native Literacy Coalition and two teaching curricula, as well as an article for the Canadian Olympic Association’s Olympic Resource Kit. Judy volunteered with the Ontario College of Teachers accreditation program and was a working member of a provincial team that reviewed the Ministry of Ontario’s elementary curriculum. Judy retired in October 2017 and in 2019 she assumed a new role as Director at Six Nations Polytechnic STEAM Academy. Judy is married and has three children and five beautiful grandchildren.
