Randy Lundy is a member of the Barren Lands (Cree) First Nation. Randy has published four books of poetry, in addition to publishing individual works of short fiction, literary non-fiction, and academic essays. His poems have been widely anthologized,

Randy joined the English Department at UTSC on July 1, 2020, as an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, following the University's TRC-response search in Creative Writing, Indigenous Literatures, and Oral Traditions.
